Job Description:
As a Technical Writer at ACE Money Transfer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, tutorials, and online help resources. You will work closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and product managers to ensure accurate and easily understandable documentation that enhances the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Creation: Write and edit clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation for software applications, hardware, and products.
Content Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.
User Guides: Create user manuals, guides, and instructional materials that help users understand and utilize our products effectively.
Online Help Resources: Develop online help resources and FAQs for web-based applications.
Visual Aids: Collaborate with designers to incorporate visual aids, diagrams, and screenshots to enhance documentation clarity.
Style and Formatting: Maintain consistent style, formatting, and tone across all documentation.
Documentation Maintenance: Update and revise documentation as products evolve or new features are introduced.
Feedback Incorporation: Gather feedback from users and internal teams to improve documentation quality.
Compliance: Ensure documentation complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a software development company.
- Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, or Markdown).
- Familiarity with content management systems and version control.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
