Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Aggregation Assistant to help us collect and organize IT hardware product data from various sources, including websites, suppliers websites, eBay, and Brokerbin. The ideal candidate will have experience in web scraping, data extraction, and data management, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Extract IT hardware product data from websites, supplier’s websites, eBay, and Brokerbin using web scraping techniques and tools, including:
  • Pricing information (MSRP, wholesale, retail)
  • Product descriptions (features, specifications, details)
  • Part numbers (manufacturer, vendor, SKU)
  • Images (product photos, thumbnails)
  • Aggregate and organize data into a structured format for analysis and reporting
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all sources
  • Research and resolve data discrepancies and errors
  • Update and maintain databases and spreadsheets with latest product information
  • Assist in data analysis and reporting to support business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and improve data quality
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new data sources

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in data aggregation, web scraping, or data extraction
  • Strong understanding of MS Excel formulas, duplication removal, etc.
  • Experience with web scraping tools and technologies
  • Familiarity with IT hardware products and market trends
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong team collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience in related field
