As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Government Sales Manager to join our team and drive our success in securing and managing U.S. government contracts.

 

What will you do:

 

  • Identify Opportunities: Research and identify potential government contract opportunities that align with Langspire’s services.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the development of high-quality proposals in response to government solicitations, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and conditions with government agencies to secure favorable terms for the company.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all contract activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the execution and administration of government contracts, ensuring all deliverables are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within government agencies and industry partners.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all contract activities and provide regular reports to senior management on contract status and performance.
  • Market Research: Request competitor proposals and tabulations from submitted opportunities to review and proactively adjust strategies to maintain compliance and competitive advantage.

 

What makes you a great fit for our team:

 

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, contract management, business development, or a related role, preferably in the B2B Tech sector.
  • Proven track record of securing government contracts
  • Ability to execute basic data cleaning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage prospects and build rapport quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with Bid Prime, GovWin, SAM.Gov, Bidet Direct, Ion Wave, and other platforms.
  • Familiar with the Freedom of Information Act and Open Records Request processes
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Minimum of 16 years of formal education.
